ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A record player having single lever presetting control for manual and repeat operation. The record player has tone- arm locking when a final repeat cycle has been terminated. A repeat designating lever and an operating member for operating the designating lever per repeat cycle, while the operating lever engages the repeat designating lever only for a given per- iod of time. A feed member is urged in one direction under the action of a spring, is secured to a repeat feed level reciprocable in response to one cycle of notation of a drive gear driven in association with rotation of a turn-table, while the feed member is so designed as to engage a tooth cam of a repeat feed plate which stores a repeat cycle commensurate with an extent of its displacement, before the completion of one cycle of rotation of the drive gear, thereby causing a given extent of displacement of the saw tooth cam, with the result that the number of parts may be reduced and the count-down of a repeat memory may be readily accomplished by an arbitrary operation of a single mode- shifting rod.
