Abstract of the Disclosure This invention is directed to a stabilizer useful to retard transesterification in moldable polymer blends containing polyester(s) during processing of the blends at elevated temperatures, particularly at high temperatures above about 285°C. More particularly, the stabilizer comprises a phosphate-epoxy adduct, The stabilizer may optionally further comprise a reactive functionality component comprising a compound having a imide or oxazoline functionality and/or a hindered phenol component. The invention is also directed to a composition comprising the stabilizer and a particularly defined polymer blend.
