ABSTRACT Compounds of formula (I): Image (I) (wherein: m is 1-3; A and B are oxygen or sulfur; and one of R1 and R2 is C10-C22 alkyl and the other is a group of formula (II): Image (II) where: n is 2 or 3; and -NR3R4R5 is an amino group] and salts thereof are effective anti-cancer agents and may be prepared by condensation of an appropriate .omega.-haloalkyl phosphate or cyclic phosphate with an amine of formula NR3R4R5.
