A zinc-based metal plated steel sheet excellent in formability having a phosphate film on the surface thereof, characterized in that the phosphate film contains a polyolefin wax or a modified polyolefin wax; a method for producing the galvanized steel sheet, characterized in that it comprises subjecting a surface of a galvanized steel sheet to a phosphate treatment and then applying an aqueous solution containing a polyolefin wax or a modified polyolefin wax, a phosphate ion and a polyvalent metal ion to the resultant steel sheet, followed by drying.
L'invention concerne une feuille d'acier galvanisée à base de zinc, présentant une remarquable aptitude à la déformation et comportant un film de phosphate sur sa surface. Ladite feuille d'acier est caractérisée en ce que le film de phosphate contient une cire polyoléfine ou une cire de polyoléfine modifiée. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de ladite feuille d'acier galvanisée qui consiste à soumettre une surface d'une feuille d'acier galvanisée à un traitement au phosphate, puis à appliquer sur la feuille d'acier ainsi obtenue une solution aqueuse contenant une cire de polyoléfine ou une cire de polyoléfine modifiée, un ion de phosphate et un ion métallique polyvalent, enfin à sécher le tout.
