Abstract of the disclosure: The present invention relates to novel phosphites, their use as stabilizers for organic polymers, to stabilizer compo- sitions containing these novel phosphites and to the organic polymers being stabilized therewith. The novel phosphites have a good stabilizing effect, especially in combination with known stabilizers, and they are substantially stable to hydrolysis.
