Abstract of the Disclosure Novel phospholipids, inclusive of pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, of the formula Image wherein R1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon residue of 15 to 20 carbon atoms, R2 is an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R3 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, exhibit inhibitory activity to multiplication of tumor cells and are useful for inhibiting multiplication of tumor cells and prolonging the survival time of tumor- bearing warm-blooded animal.
