Phospholipids (e.g. MPPA and DPPS) show a remarkable antimicrobial effect against gram negative (e.g. Pseudomonas and Klebsiella) and gram positive (e.g. Staphylococcus and Enterococcus) bacteria. When the phospholipids are combined with antibiotics (e.g. ampicillin, ceftazidime, or piperacillin) the effect of the antibiotic is enhanced by the presence of the phospholipid. The substance of the invention will be used alone or in combination with antibiotics, antimicrobials, antifungal, antiviral, or antiprotozoal drugs for the combat of infectious diseases, such as prophylactic, cytocidal, antibacterial, bacteriostatic, and/or bacteriocidal effects.
Les phospholipides (par exemple MPPA et DPPS) présentent un effet antimicrobien remarquable contre les bactéries gram-négatif (par exemple Pseudomonas et Klebsiella et gram-positif (par exemple Staphylocoques et Entérocoques). Lorsque les phospholipides sont combinés à des antibiotiques (comme l'ampicilline, la ceftazidime, ou la pipéracilline), l'effet de l'antibiotique est amélioré par la présence du phospholipide. La substance selon l'invention peut être utilisée seule ou en association avec des produits antibiotiques, antimicrobiens, antifongiques, antiviraux ou antiprotozoaires, pour combattre les maladies infectieuses, par des effets prophylactiques, cytocydaux, antibactériens, bactériostatiques et/ou bactériocides.
