Various phosphorescence charging systems are provided for charging a phosphorescent wheel The wheel (20) is attached to the frame (12) of a vehicle with nighttime or low light operation capability The phosphorescence charging system directs electromagnetic radiation, such as ultraviolet light (70), onto phosphorescent portions of the wheel so as to cause subsequent phosphorescent emission therefrom.

Cette invention concerne divers systèmes de charge phosphorescente conçus pour charger un roue phosphorescente. La roue (20) est reliée au châssis (12) d'un véhicule doté d'une capacité de fonctionnement dans des conditions de nuit ou de faible luminosité.
