The invention relates to specific photochromic h-annellated benzo[f]chrome- derivatives, in addition to the use thereof in all types of plastic, in particular for ophthalmic purposes. The invention relates specifically to photochromic compounds derived from benzo[f]chromenes, said compounds comprising in their closed form particular long wave length absorptions maxima and good performance in the open, coloured form, whereby good harmony is achieved with the indenonaphthopyranes which are diffused in said phototropic glass in applications of phototropic glass.
L'invention concerne des dérivés photochromes de benzo[f]chromènes h-annelés, et leur utilisation dans des matériaux plastiques de tout type, notamment à des fins opthalmologiques. Cette invention concerne en particulier des composés photochromes dérivés de benzo[f]chromènes, qui présentent des maxima d'absorption de longueur d'onde particulièrement élevée dans leur forme fermée, et de bonnes performances dans leur forme chromatique ouverte. Utilisés dans des verres phototropes, ces composés se combinent de manière harmonieuse avec les indénonaphtopyranes qui sont diffusés dans lesdits verres phototropes.
