16 Abstract To provide a photoconductor for electrophotography with good electric characteristics, particularly a low residual potential, as well as a manufacturing method for the photoconductor. An undercoating layer 2 is provided on a conductive substrate 1, and a coating liquid containing a charge generation material, a resin binder, and a stabilizer is then applied. The substrate 1 was then heated and hardened at 120°C to form a charge generation layer 4, upon which a charge transport layer 5 is formed to create a photoconductor with a laminated photoconductive layer 3.
