ABSTRACT The present invention relates to novel polymers prepared by anionic or group transfer techniques and capped with a terminating functionality which is a 3,4- disubstituted maleimido organo compound remnant. These polymers can be easily fabricated in the manner of fabricating thermoplastic elastomers and, upon crosslinking, result in products having properties of vulcanized rubbers. These polymers can also be blended with tackifiers and employed as adhesives that are photosensitive.
