ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for transporting photographic film in a chemical solution to process the film has a first roller with a fabric covered surface in contact with second and third rollers which have diameters significantly less than the diameter of the first roller. The fabric of the first roller is preferably a stocking with a surface composed of a plurality of outwardly extending loop-shaped fiber projections, and the rollers are positioned so that the fabric covered roller is depressed along the lines of contact with the smaller rollers, resulting in a scrubbing action taking place on film passing between the rollers.
