ABSTRACT Flashlamp units having several lamps comprise thermal activated break switches to prepare a following lamp for ignition when a foregoing lamp is ignited. In flashlamp units according to the invention, the break switches form an integrated part of the unit. They each consist of a portion of a support place having a reduced thickness and an electrically conductive track of a cir- cuit, which is present on the support plate provided on the portion of reduced thickness.
