-5- ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE PHOTOGRAPHIC METHOD FOR DISTORTED PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHS An amusing portrait photograph of a human subject is taken by placing the face of the subject at the edge of a vertical mirror so that one half of the face is obscured behind the mirror and the other half is visible directly along the face of the mirror and as a reflection in the mirrored surface of the mirror. A camera positioned at the opposed edge can therefore photograph the visible portion of the face together with the reflected image of the visible portion. When the centre line of the face is slightly misaligned relative to the edge of the mirror, a distorted image is photographed which can be of an amusing character.
