ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Positive images including color images are obtained by a photographic reversal process by imagewise exposure of a material which comprises at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, black and white development, fogging and colour development characterized in that the fogging is carried out in the presence of a compound of the formula Image wherein the various groups R represent a range of hydrocarbyl and cyclic groups, typical compounds being furfurylidene thiosemi- carbohydrazide and the bis adduct of glucose and thiocarbohydra- zide, and m, n and p all with zero or 1, with the proviso that m and p are not the same.
