Photoinitiator mixtures containing a titanocene and a 3-ketocoumarin Abstract The present invention relates to compositions comprising a) a titanocene photoinitiator of the formula I Image (I), and b) a 3-ketocoumarin of the formula II Image (II), in which both R1, R2 and R3 are as defined in claim 1, R4 is a radical of the formula V Image (V), R5 is C1-C20alkyl, cycloalkyl having 5-7 ring carbon atoms, phenyl or naphthyl which are unsubstituted or substituted by one to three C1-C6- alkyl groups, C1-C6alkoxy groups or halogen atoms or by one diphenyl- amino or C1-C6dialkylamino group, or is C7-C9aralkyl, a radical -(CH=CH)a-C6H5 or a radical of the formula V, a is 1 or 2, preferably 1, and R10, R11, R12, R13 and R14 independently of one another are hydrogen, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, phenyl, tolyl, xylyl or benzyl, and R11 can additionally also be a group -NR15R16 or -OR15, wherein R15 and R16 independently of one another are hydrogen or C1-C6alkyl, it also being possible for two or three of the radicals R10, R11, R12 and R13 together with the ring carbon atoms, to which they are attached, to form a fused ring having 5 or 6 ring atoms or a fused ring system having 5-membered or 6-membered rings. The photoinitiator mixtures can be used in combination with ethyleni- cally unsaturated monomers, preferably with photopolymerizable pre- cursors of thermally stable polymers. These mixtures can be processed especially on substrates having surfaces which are strongly scattering or strongly reflecting, to give relief structures with high resolu- tion.
