ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The combination of a carbonyl-containing compound, an organic compound containing an element of Group V of the Periodic Table, and a halogenated hydrocarbon is effective as a photoini- tiator for the polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated compounds. These photoinitiators are useful in printing inks, coatings, ad- hesives, pres?nsitized photopolymeric printing plates and like products for curing of monomeric or prepolymer ingredients.
