Design of a device for detecting and counting photons based on a one- dimensional waveguide (1) connected to a number of bistable absorbent elements (2) that perform the detection, said device being used to detect and classify microwave radiation (3). Said detection is performed using qubits, the states of which are irreversibly changed by the passage of the absorbed photons originating in the induced radiation.
La présente invention porte sur un modèle de dispositif de détection et de comptage de photons qui est basé sur un guide d'onde unidimensionnel (1) couplé à une pluralité d'éléments absorbants (2) bistables qui effectuent la détection, ledit dispositif étant utilisé pour la détection et la caractérisation du rayonnement des ondes hyperfréquences (3). La détection est effectuée au moyen de qubits dont les états demeurent irréversiblement modifiés lors du passage des photons absorbés provenant du rayonnement induit.
