The invention concerns a photonic device (1) comprising a first section (2, 4) including a material (4) adapted to interact with photons, a second section (5) including a material (5) adapted to interact with photons, with an area (3) of said first section (2, 4) and an area (6) of said second section (5) abutting each other wherein at least a part of said first area (3) and a part of said second area (6) defines a low temperature bonding area to provide adaptability for a plurality of applications based on a combination of materials having specific characteristic benefits, however without introducing unwanted effects having a negative influence on the quality of optical signals.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif photonique (1) qui comprend une première section (2, 4) incluant un matériau (4) adapté pour interagir avec les photons, une seconde section (5) incluant un matériau (5) adapté pour interagir avec les photons, une zone (3) de cette première section (2, 4) et une zone (6) de cette seconde section (5) étant contiguës entre elles. Au moins une partie de cette première zone (3) et une partie de cette seconde zone (6) définissent une zone de liaison à basse température de façon à présenter une adaptabilité pour une pluralité d'applications fondées sur une combinaison de matériaux bénéficiant de caractéristiques spécifiques, sans toutefois induire des effets indésirables sur la qualité des signaux optiques.
