ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is an electrostatographic photosensitive device which exhibits improved cycling characteristics. The device comprises: a) a conductive substrate; b) a uniform layer on the conductive substrate of a hole generating photoconductive material; and c) an organic layer overcoating the layer of photoconductive material of poly (vinylcarbazole) having dispersed therein 2,4,7-trinitro-9-fluorenone in an amount of from 0.01 to 10 percent by weight of the organic layer.
