Abstract A photosensitive planographic printing plate comprises an aluminium or aluminium alloy plate having an anodic oxidation layer obtained by anode oxidation in an electrolyte of phosphoric acid or in an acid elec- trolyte containing phosphoric acid as the main component, and a layer of photopolymerizable photosensitive composi- tion overlaid on the Al or Al alloy plate and containing a polymer binder having a carboxylic acid residue or car- boxylic acid anhydride residue, an addition polymerizable unsaturated compound and a photopolymerization initiator.
