D-9205-L PHOTOTHERAPY IRRADIATION CHAMBER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A phototherapy irradiation chamber having substantial uniformity of irradiance therewithin comprises an array of vertical fluorescent lamps surrounding the irradiation space. Reflectors are located within the array at the top and bottom thereof. The ends of the lamps extend beyond the reflectors. The chamber is used to irradiate patients with ultraviolet radiation. It provides more uniform irradiance throughout its interior than prior art chambers.
