An electronic toy with at least one moving part can physically interact with a user or another toy. The toy comprises a pre-programmed integrated circuit; at least one electric motor; and a motion sensor adapted to generate a signal upon detection of motion; such that when the motion sensor detects a movement, a signal is generated which triggers the integrated circuit to control the electric motor or motors to create particular actions by moving at least one moving part of the toy.
