There is a physiotherapy instrument for use by a practitioner in mobilisation treatments. The instrument comprises a neck portion 11 with a pair of handles extending therefrom which are adapted to be grasped by said practitioner and a resiliently deformable head 12 attached to said neck portion 11. The head 12 has a working face 12A inclined at an acute angle to the longitudinal centre-line of one of the handles 13. One of said handles 13 is adapted for use on solf tissue and the other handle is adapted for use on hard tissue.
