A pick-up head for a mobile sweeping vehicle comprises a housing defining a substantially hollow interior and a suctioning bottom opening for suctioning dust and small debris. A suctioning front opening is disposed in the front of the housing for receiving debris into the substantially hollow interior of the housing. A door is mounted on the pick-up head for selectively opening and closing the suctioning front opening. A dust and debris outlet in the housing permits dust and debris to be suctioned from the substantially hollow interior. A gutter broom is mounted within the housing adjacent one end, for sweeping dust and small debris inwardly from the selected one of the left end and the right end and towards the dust and debris outlet. An opening in the housing at the selected end permits the gutter broom to extend beyond the end of the housing, thus allowing the gutter broom to sweep against a curb, for sweeping dust and small debris towards a central path. A selectively operable motor is for operating the first gutter broom.
L'invention concerne une tête de ramassage d'une balayeuse mobile qui comprend un boîtier définissant un intérieur sensiblement creux et une ouverture inférieure d'aspiration qui aspire les poussières et les petits débris. Une ouverture avant d'aspiration, placée à l'avant du boîtier, est destinée à recevoir des débris dans l'intérieur sensiblement creux du boîtier. Une porte montée sur la tête de ramassage permet d'ouvrir et de fermer sélectivement l'ouverture avant d'aspiration. Une sortie de poussières et de débris du boîtier permet d'aspirer ces poussières et débris de l'intérieur sensiblement creux. Un balai de caniveau, installé dans le boîtier jouxtant une extrémité, balaie les poussières et les petits débris vers l'intérieur à partir de l'extrémité gauche ou droite choisie et vers la sortie des poussières et débris. Une ouverture dans le boîtier à l'extrémité choisie permet au balai de caniveau de s'étendre au delà de l'extrémité du boîtier, le balai de caniveau pouvant alors balayer dans une courbe, pour enlever la poussière et les petits débris en direction d'un chemin central. Un moteur pouvant fonctionner de manière sélective permet d'activer le premier balai de caniveau.
