ABSTRACT A picking and/or weeding implement comprises first and second prongs and at least one barb associated with at least one of the prongs. In some embodiments, primarily intended for smaller weeds, the prongs are a fixed distance apart. In other embodiments, primarily intended for larger weeds, the spacing between the prongs is adjustable. In the embodiments in which the prongs are adjustable, there is a movable prong and a fixed prong and the movable prong can be tilted during a weeding operation so that the barb can impale a weed. A set of such implements, and methods for using such implements, are also disclosed.
