PICNIC TABLE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A picnic table comprises a circular fabric panel which is attached to the top end of a vertical leg so as to stand outwardly therefrom in a horizontal plane. The fabric panel is supported by stiffener wires coupled to a hub member at the top of the leg. The stiffener wires are supported by support wires extending downwardly from each stiffener wire to a collar on the leg. The stiffener wires and the fabric panel are sufficiently stiff to hold or maintain the horizontal planar position when supporting articles such as plates, cups and the like. The lower end of the leg is spiked to engage into the ground. The fabric panel can be folded downwardly by collapsing the wire stiffeners downwardly alongside the leg.
