Abstract An apparatus for framing a member, such as a picture, includes a first element for engagement with the member. The first element has an elongate recess. A second element has a different aesthetic appearance than the first element. The second element includes a portion which extends into the recess of the first element. The first element has means for lockingly engaging the second element to secure the first and second elements together.
