ABSTRACT The invention concerns a piece of jewellery for fastening to a tie, consisting essentially of a holding element which surrounds the tie at least partially, whereby the holding element has a U-shaped or crescent-shaped recess holding the tie (1) immediately below the tied tie knot (2), which is restricted by an outer part (6), surrounding or clasping the tie (1) and an inner counter part (9), extending more or less parallel to the outer part (6) and convexly supporting the tie (1) from the inside.
