Abstract of the Disclosure A pierced earring assembly comprising an ornamental portion having a metallic wire post secured thereto and extending inwardly from the inner side thereof, a plastic post having an inner bore extending from one end thereof and terminating intermediate the length of said plastic post, said wire post extending into said bore and being secured therein with the said one end of said plastic post terminating adjacent to but in spaced relation to the inner surface of said ornamental portion.
