Abstract of the Disclosure An electro-acoustic transducer comprising a pair of piezo-electric diaphragms each including a plurality of spaced layers of plastic foil; and a separate surface electrode disposed on each surface of each of the plurality of layers, each of the plurality of layers being electrically polar- ized such that movement of the pair of diaphragms generates a potential difference between the sur- face electrodes of each of the plurality of layers and the application of an alternating voltage to the surface electrodes cause the pair of diaphragms to vibrate, the surface electrodes being inter- connected such that the pair of diaphragms operate in a push-pull manner.
