A pig-compatible three-way valve (1) incorporates a tubular main section (2), adapted so that a pig can pass through it and a tubular secondary section (5) connected at right angles to this main section opposite an opening (7) determined by the intersection of the inner cylindrical wall of the main section with a surface (3) in the shape of a portion of a sphere oriented towards the tubular secondary section. A moving element selectively closing the opening incorporates a butterfly-type disk (30), eccentric with respect to a control shaft (20) disposed on the side of this tubular secondary section, designed to seal completely this opening (7) by following the line of this surface shaped as a portion of a sphere, at this point completing the inner cylindrical surface of the tubular main section.
