ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Pig farrowing apparatus comprises a restraining crate for a sow, a delivery chamber having a grid floor separated from the sow by a hinged door or flap, a piglet rearing chamber communicating with the delivery chamber and joined thereto by a ramp, and piglet feeding apparatus for delivering feed to piglets contained in the piglet rearing chamber and comprising milk extracted from the mother or another sow and/or artificially produced feed product.
