The present invention relates to the use of a pigment form or pigment concentrate comprising an organic pigment, and optionally an inorganic filler and/or an organic additive for coloring of seeds. Seeds colored by the dry pigment forms or pigment concentrates show an homogeneous color and in some cases growth promotion effects.
