In processing a meat product, an excellent color layer, which shows no bleeding or irregular color, can be efficiently formed on the surface of a food. For this, disclosed is a pigment-transfer sheet for foods which comprises a heat-resistant and water-resistant base and a transferable colored transfer layer formed on said base, wherein said colored transfer layer contains a water-soluble pigment together with at least one kind of binder.
