An ink comprising an ink vehicle; pigment particles; and a dispersant; wherein the dispersant stabilizes the pigment particles; and wherein the dispersant is a compound of the formula (see formula I), (see formula II), or a mixture thereof, wherein R and R' are independently selected from alkyl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl with from about 18 to about 60 carbon atoms and wherein m is an integer of from about 1 to about 30.
