ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Pilot operated coolant control valves in a manifold assembly for supplying a coolant, said coolant control valves comprising removable cartridges positioned in apertures in said manifold assembly, each of said cartridges having a valve body, a valve seat and a movable valve element, a solenoid plunger having valve elements on its ends in said valve body controlling passageways communicating with said valve body and said manifold and the atmosphere respectively, and a solenoid coil for moving said solenoid plunger whereby coolant in said manifold moves said solenoid plunger when said solenoid coil is de-energized against the passageway communicating with the atmosphere to maintain said valve element in closed position.
