The invention concerns a tool for centring and clamping (1) of at least a part (P) to be fixed in position and comprising a through passage and adjusted for said tool (1), comprising a pilot device (3) borne at the end of a case (2) having an upper face forming a support for said part and clamping members (5), further comprising means for driving (6, 7, 8, 10, 11) the clamping members (5) between a centring position in which the clamping members are retracted into the pilot device (3) and a plurality of clamping positions in which the clamping members (5) project outside the pilot device (3) and rest on the part (P). The invention is characterised in that the driving means (6, 7, 8, 10, 11) are arranged for simultaneously pivoting and translating said clamping members (5) between the centring position and the clamping position. The invention is useful for handling parts to be fixed in position.

L'invention consiste en un outil de centrage et de serrage (1) d'au moins une pièce (P) à fixer en position et comportant un passage traversant et ajusté pour ledit outil (1), du type comportant un organe pilote (3) porté à l'extrémité d'un carter (2) présentant une face supérieure formant un appui pour ladite pièce et des organes de serrage (5), comportant en outre des moyens d'entraînement (6, 7, 8, 10, 11) des organes de serrage (5) entre une position de centrage dans laquelle les organes de serrage (5) sont effacés à l'intérieur de l'organe pilote (3) et une pluralité de positions de serrage dans lesquelles les organes de serrage (5) sont en saillie à l'extérieur de l'organe pilote (3) et en appui sur la pièce (P). L'invention consiste en ce que les moyens d'entraînement (6, 7, 8, 10, 11) sont agencés pour entraîner en pivotement et en translation simultanément lesdits organes de serrage (5) entre la position de centrage et une position de serrage. Application à la manutention de pièces à fixer en position.
