A pilot valve assembly comprises a poppet valve (12) positioned in an outlet gas delivery tube of a valve housing. The poppet valve includes a spring- loaded valve stem (82), a diaphragm (42) and a backup disk (44). A trigger gas is supplied to the poppet valve to cause the poppet valve to open.

Cet ensemble soupape pilote présente une soupape à champignon (12), placée dans un tube d'un logement de soupape, ce tube étant destiné à l'apport de gaz et présentant un orifice de sortie. La soupape à champignon comprend une tige (82) chargée par ressort, un diaphragme (42) ainsi qu'un disque de support (44). Un gaz de déclenchement est fourni à la soupape à champignon, afin de provoquer l'ouverture de celle-ci.
