ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A mounting for a pincers assembly (18) having a base (64) at its bottom and an upwardly extending sleeve (26) mounted to its top. The mounting, which enables the pincers assembly (18) to have forward-rearward movement, includes a slide (52) mounted below the base (64) which is connected to a motor (50) to effect forward-rear- ward movement of the base (64), a universal joint (56) connecting the slide (52) to the base (64) and a bearing (74) mounted for universal movement through which the sleeve (26) extends.
