PHD 80 116 12 ABSTRACT: The electric incandescent lamp of the invention has an envelope having a pinch seal wherein current supply wires are incorporated. A filament is mounted within the envelope transversely to the lamp axis. The current sup- ply wires in the pinch lie in a plane which encloses an angle of at least 45° with the plane wherein the filament is situated. Within the envelope, the current supply wires are interconnected by means of an electrically insulating body. The lamp has, as a result of its struc- ture, an increased resistance against shocks and vibra- tions..
