A pinch valve (10) includes a generally tubular housing (11) including coupling members (12) respectively defining coaxial passages (20) therethrough and adapted for coupling to associated conduits. The passages (20) have tapered seating surfaces (24) which respectively receive the opposite ends of a flexible, resilient, tubular valve member (50). A two-part housing body (31) is ultrasonically welded together for clamping the coupling members (12) in position and defining a cavity (40) receiving the valve member (50) and an opening into the cavity (40). The body (31) pivotally supports a valve lever (45) which projects out of the opening and is movable between an open position leaving the valve member (50) unconstricted and a closed position pinching the valve member (50) closed. In a dual- valve embodiment (60), two of the valves (10A) ate supported in parallel relationship at opposite ends of a bridge member (65).
