ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pipe connection with a supporting sleeve with a shoulder and one or more connecting regions, of which at least one connecting region is constructed for a pressure joint with a pipe of a compressible material, and with one pressure sleeve per pressure joint, which embraces an end of the pipe that is pushed onto a connecting region and is fixed in a compressed engagement on the connecting region. In order to make possible a particular rapid and reliable examination of the correctly pushed-on position of the pipe, the pipe connection has at least one controlling arrangement per pressure joint through which the position of the pipe end on the connecting region can be checked.
