12 Abstract In a pipe connection the particularity lies in a support portion which is introduced into the interior of the pipe to be connected and which is provided with support surfaces, and a clamping means which is provided on the outside of the pipe and which has pressure surfaces co- operating with the support surfaces of the support portion. In the method of making that pipe connection, a support portion is introduced into the one end of the pipe to be connected and the pipe is thereby put into an outwardly bulged configuration, to which the clamping means is fitted. (Figure 1)
