A pipe coupling has an elastomer packing collar (5) arranged in a closable housing (4) with radial end walls (14) and comprising two axially spaced apart ring-shaped beads (6) which project radially inwards and sealingly lie against a pipe (1, 2). Each ring-shaped bead (6) subdivided into two adjacent radial beads (8, 9) by a ring-shaped gap (7) oriented at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the pipe coupling. This gap (7) forms at the outer radial bead (9) a sharp-cornered packing lip (10). The ring-shaped gap (7) may be closed by pressing together and elastically deforming the two adjacent radial beads (8, 9). Each front side (11) of the packing collar (5) is inclined inwards towards the longitudinal axis of the pipe coupling. A conical clamping ring (13) with a subdivided circumference axially and radially supported on the housing (4), lies against the front side (11) of the packing collar (5). When the housing (4) is narrowed and closed and the packing collar (5) is clamped, the clamping ring (13) lies on the corresponding pipe (1 or 2) of the piping. The inwardly inclined front side (11) may be substantially designed as an inner cone (12) and the clamping ring (13) may have a rounded inner edge (20).

Un raccord de tuyau comporte une garniture cylindrique élastomère (5) qui est disposée dans un logement obturable (4) pourvu de parois terminales radiales (14) et présente deux bourrelets annulaires (6) espacés axialement et faisant saillie radialement vers l'intérieur pour venir en appui à étanchéité contre un tuyau (1, 2). Chaque bourrelet annulaire (6) est subdivisé en deux bourrelets radiaux adjacents (8, 9) par une fente annulaire (7) orientée selon un angle aigu par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du raccord. Cette fente (7) forme au niveau du bourrelet radial extérieur (9) une lèvre d'étanchéité (10) acutangulaire. La fente annulaire (7) est comprimable par déformation élastique des deux bourrelets radiaux (8, 9) adjacents. Chaque face frontale (11) de la garniture cylindrique (5) est inclinée vers l'intérieur en direction de l'axe longitudinal du raccord. Une bague de serrage conique (13) subdivisée à sa périphérie prend appui axialement et radialement contre le logement (4) et repose contre la face frontale (11) de la garniture cylindrique (5). Lorsque le logement (4) est obturé après rétrécissement et que la garniture cylindrique (5) est serrée, la bague de serrage (13) est en appui contre le tuyau correspondant (1 ou 2) de la canalisation. La face frontale (11) inclinée vers l'intérieur peut se présenter sensiblement sous forme d'un cône intérieur (12) et la bague de serrage (13) peut posséder un bord intérieur arrondi (20).
