The invention relates to a pipe coupling for plastic pipes which comprises a glass-fiber reinforced plastic sleeve (2) and a membrane (4) which is produced from an elastic material. Said membrane is configured as a seal on at least one side and is provided with a jointing sleeve (8). In that portion of the membrane where it is configured as a seal, a short section (14) is shaped cylindrically at the margin of the membrane where the tube (20) is inserted (that is at the outer end of the membrane). In said cylindrical part the membrane has a constant wall thickness on which the glass-fiber reinforced sleeve part of the pipe coupling comes to rest.
L'invention concerne un accouplement de tuyaux comprenant un manchon (2) en plastique renforcé par des fibres de verre et une membrane (4) en matière élastique dont au moins une face est conçue comme un joint et qui présente un élément douille (8). Là où la membrane est conçue comme un joint, elle présente une courte partie (14) cylindrique au niveau de sa terminaison, là où le tuyau (20) est introduit (c'est-à-dire à l'extrémité extérieure). La partie cylindrique de la membrane a une épaisseur constante, l'élément manchon en renforcé par des fibres de verre de l'accouplement de tuyaux venant s'appliquer dessus.
