During the installation of pipes, valves, fittings, or other materials, people tend to neglect to install guides, slides, pipe supports or a misalignment on piping, or create situations where welding is limited. This creates unnecessary work for the installer and considerable cost to the companies to rectify this problem. The installer, pipe fitter or welder must rig chain falls or use cranes to lift pipes or other materials to clear the beams to get enough clearance to install the missing pieces. When taking down old or unnecessary pipes, there may not be enough room to use cutters or other means. Since most pipes run parallel close together on a high line, cutting into another pipe is possible causing rupture, causing rupture, causing harm to workers or plant shutdown. When fitting pipe on a high line, leveling and maneuvering pipe is difficult to do in most instances taking time, machinery and sometimes-unsafe methods to accomplish.
