A process for treating metal pipe is provided for repair, rehabilitation or protection. The process comprises coating at least part of a pipe surface with first an undercoat of a thermosetting polymer such as a polyurethane or polyepoxide and second with an overcoat of a polyolefin such as ethylene acrylic acid or Maleic anhydride. The overcoat is applied by thermospraying.
