ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pipeline crawler comprises a wheeled power unit and a tractor unit having a plurality of driven wheels for engage- ment with the interior wall of a pipeline. Flexible power transmission means extends from the power unit to the tractor unit for driving said driven wheels and a swivel connection in said transmission means is effective to permit rotary movement of said tractor unit relative to said power unit.
