Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to a novel piperazinyluracil salt of the formula I: Image I This novel compound is useful in the treatment of hypertension and represents an improved form of presentation of the corresponding antihypertensive piperazinyluracil from which it is derived. It is prepared according to the invention by reacting the parent compound urapidil or an acid addition thereof with furosemide or a salt thereof with a base.
